Talisman was a Swedish hard rock band characterized by an international melodic rock, powerhouse sound. Formed by bass player Marcel Jacob (Yngwie Malmsteen, "Force" early Europe, John Norum). The first Talisman album record was released in 1990 and Marcels long time friend the American Jeff Scott Soto(Yngwie Malmsteen, TSO, Sons Of Apollo, SOTO) sang on all the albums. Talisman recorded seven studio albums and released several live recordings.
Marcel passed away July 21st in 2009, way too early.
With this channel we continuing the Talisman legacy and keep Marcel Jacob's spirit and music alive.
