Most people in the US aren't even aware of this, but Youtube recently implemented geographical filtering. This is like DVD regions applied to the internet.
So OK, sure, you might not care about freedom of speech or net neutrality or heck, you might even think that it's somehow a Good Thing to let corporations and governments have control over the things you're allowed to watch. If so, well, that's your choice. Please go back to sleep now and I'm sorry to have troubled you.
