Connecticut's own Ark of the Covenant made their debut in 2011 with their EP "Separation" on Strike First Records, praised by reviewers for their signature sound.

Ark joined Facedown Records to release their 2013 full length "Self Harvest" which was Produced and Engineered by Gregory Thomas (Misery Signals, Shai Hulud, Life In Your Way), "Self Harvest" debuted to reviews of "devastating, menacing, layered and powerful." To capitalize on the stellar reviews, Ark took up the mantle of full-time touring to support "Self Harvest", kicking it off by joining up with Saving Grace for the uber-succesful Hard & Relentless Tour which began at Facedown Fest and headed across the country to the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.
