My grandson and I started building a rudder assemble for the CH-750. My intent is to build the whole aircraft one section at a time. The goal is to complete it and teach him to fly. I had a career in aviation and had retired thinking I was not going to pilot an aircraft or work on one again. I had over 45 years in the field. I have 3,700 plus hours of civilian PIC time and most of that instructing. My grandson is the 2019 Kansas State Science Fair winner for his age group. He build his own wind tunnel and tested his theory in it. He is all about everything aviation so he pushed me out of retirement and now I'm working about 6 hours a day on the Zenith CH-750 project. He will be joining me as school and time permits.
