Grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee to a family that illegally came to the U.S escaping El Salvador's Civil War then gang violence in California. My aunt was a DJ when I was little and I followed her footsteps until music production and fell in love with it. I soon picked up rapping a year after and have been going at it ever since. My dad and uncles played west coast rap, chicano rap, and oldies and my grandma and aunt played Cumbia, Reggaetón, and Bachata which influenced my music. My rap name "El Chino" comes from the nickname I was given by my family due to my asian look. I hope to give to anyone that listens a message, a look into my culture, or just something to play and dance or chill to.
