Originally from Brittany and now based in the North East of England, Magali is the founder and Director of Provenance Films. She has over 10 years experience as a photographer, camera operator and self-shooting Director/Producer and has been commissioned to produce, direct and film numerous short documentaries and dramas for educational purposes, multi-media exhibitions and brands.

Her debut indie feature length documentary, Addicted to Sheep, about a tenant hill farming family who live 1300 feet above sea level in the North Pennines, premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest in 2015. It has since been touring nationally and internationally. A 60 min version version was also cut for BBC4. Addicted to Sheep was described by Top Film Critic Mark Kermode as 'a rare treat', 'told with affection but without sentimentality'.
