Television for Education -- Asia Pacific, trading as TVE Asia Pacific (TVEAP) taps the enormous power of moving images and digital media to communicate sustainable development and social issues. A regionally operating media foundation, it works closely with TV broadcasters, civil society groups and educational organisations in the Asia Pacific, home to half of humanity.
TVEAP supports Asian TV journalists and film-makers to tell their stories to local, regional and global audiences, while distributing independent video productions for education, awareness, advocacy and training. It also carries out media training, communication strategy preparation and media research.
Films on this channel have come from many different sources. Some are TVEAP's own productions filmed across Asia and beyond. Others are films that TVEAP is distributing on a non-commercial basis. All these can be ordered on DVD from TVEAP's e-shop.
