Rodney Hargis - Folksinger
Singer/songwriter based on the west coast of Central New Jersey, originally from North Carolina, but a couple of decades in the Garden State have led me to call it my home. I've been writing and performing songs for a long time, but I've never taken the time to put together a collection of performances for others to see. Most of the songs I play on here were written by me. Some of them have been performed by my band 3.26 (3twenty6), some of them haven't. Eventually, a better description of me and my work will appear in this space. I'm just not so great at explaining what I do, and have no idea what genre this stuff falls under. Some people call it folk music, and that's fine, I suppose.

Note - Some videos on this channel have nothing to do with my work as an artist, but are relics of an era when not every song in the world was available on YouTube. I intend to keep those recordings in place, as they may help someone discover some of the music that has inspired me.
