BOM: Best Of Machines
High quality video of old machines in need of either repair or cosmetic restoration, or both. And the videos go beyond just the pretty: time is taken to explain how the mechanical device works, and to share interesting history about it.
I hope the videos stir the same fascination in you as what I have for old mechanical devices, how impressively complex they can be, and the durability of manufacture that enables them to still work, and be useful, many years later.
BOM Reviews welcomes you and thanks you for your interest and support.
-----------------
The idea for this channel started out as a parody of unboxing videos -- revealing vintage and antique machines instead of new technology. Without original boxes or crates, bags were used instead, thus BOM originally stood for 'Bags O' Mystery' (which is also an 1800's phrase for sausages). The channel has evolved into something simpler, and I hope, more enjoyable.
