This site celebrates the "Quite Legend" of the UK band The Ghost. The band recorded their one and only album in late 1969. They spent about 10 hours in studio, and did it in one day. That is how albums were done in those days. This has given the album a "Live" sound, if the band got it wrong..you did it again. Recorded in Handsworth Birmingham, England for President Records. A new label Gemini was created for the band. The title When You're Dead never destined to be a top 10 hit. Hardly a request song ! But the album has stood the test of time and over 40 years on it is still hailed as unique and highly sought after. It has been released several times on vinyl. Also in CD format, the latest out this year. I don't know if I can put the whole album up. But I will certainly attempt several tracks. I have not as yet found any filmed footage. But do have photo's
and will try and create interesting sets for your eyes.
