Take a look at Pussycat / Toni Willé - The official channel
Dutch country and pop music group Pussycat featured the three Kowalczyk sisters – Toni, Betty and Marianne – former telephone operators from Limburg.
In 1975 they scored a big European hit with the song Mississippi but had to wait another year for the single to top the British charts. It climbed to #1 there in October 1976.
Pussycat’s career in Europe spanned more than a decade. They made regular appearances on the West German TV series, Musikladen, in the late 1970s and early 1980s and released 6 albums.
By 1981, the band had reduced to only Toni, Betty, Marianne and Toni’s husband Lou Willé, on guitar. The group finally disbanded in 1985.
Toni went on to a successful solo career as a country singer, using the name Toni Willé.
