August 2022 I made the decision to jump over to a carrier that had dedicated freight with Tyson Foods I really wish I did it sooner even though the majority of 2022 was profitable the truck unfortunately had multiple breakdowns one after the other after the other that were rather costly. I was literally working for the carrier two months digging my way out of a hole when the International 9400i threw a connecting rod .
I made a split second decision to sell my personal pickup truck gather up what business funds I had left and purchase a 2023 Kenworth T680 Next-Gen. Fast forward I'm still leased on with the dedicated carrier and unfortunately economic downturn has hit Tyson and loads have dramatically dwindled as of right now I'm still in this still able to turn a profit for now but with huge overhead who knows what could possibly bring me down, stay tuned to Jackknife-TV to find out.
