Conservative Media Personality & Host of The Douglas Ducote Show, lifetime member of the United States Press Association, retired US Army veteran & veteran law enforcement officer. In Law Enforcement Douglas served as a training officer with San Mateo County Sheriff's Office (FTO), active-duty MOS, 67U (CH-47 Flight Engineer) and OJT 67N (UH-1 Crew Chief). In the army guard he picked up an additional MOS of 95B (Military Police officer), and he also served 3 years as a HH-60G CE in the Ca. Air National Guard's 129th Rescue Sqd. Douglas deployed 4 times in direct support of combat operations for Golden Pheasant, Just Cause, Desert Storm, and Iraqi Freedom. After retirement in 2004, he founded Veterans United for Justice a veteran's advocacy nonprofit assisting vets with the VA, and with programs for PTSD. In 2006 Douglas was inducted into the Veterans Hall of Honor.
