If you are lucky enough to visit a beautiful place you want a good recollection of it. With a short video you can capture everything, and keep the bits that you want to remember. And if you can match the mood of the moment with some music that fits (not necessarily original!) then you can create a really good memory of that event that lasts forever.
I was fortunate enough to go travelling around the world for 6 months with my wife, from Oct 2013 to April 2014. There are 22 videos from this trip - (see my "Round the world..." playlist) during which I uploaded videos to YouTube from 4 different continents.
I love to experiment with separating out the audio from movie clips and playing with different speeds and sound effects. It's something I have a lot of fun playing with.
