Molham (Arabic for “Inspired”) is the epitome of the third culture kid. Brought up on Fairouz and Michael Jackson, Ragheb Alama and Akon, Rashed Almajid and J Cole, his sound is a melting pot of global genres shimmering with the euphoria of Arab and Khaleeji culture. Raised between Canada, Saudi Arabia, and the US, he reflects who he is in his records, drawing inspiration from both his Western upbringing and Arabian roots across his narrative-driven lyrics, dreamy melodies, and monumental sonics.
Earlier this decade, the Jeddah native notably introduced himself to the Middle East by ushering in A-pop (a term he coined, short for “Arabic pop”) with hit records like Khayali (100M+ plays across platforms) and Khaleeki, blending Arabic-English lyrics with global pop melodies.Today, Molham has his eyes set on the global stage, preparing an onslaught of English-dominant, Arab-inspired releases for the latter half of 2024.
