This channel was created to share with other modellers what can be achieved by building a layout. it is not about the size but the materials used to make it look realistic.
My main ingredients are: Moss, Cork, Soil and wood glue.
The layout's working progress is continuing and from time to time we add modules to extend the layout to its former glory (13m x 5m).
The construction of the layout began in 1980 with my son, wife (being tolerant) and myself, the core design of the mobile layout (20 modules all together) is to have an attraction on each module. Some of the attractions cover 3 modules, such as the freight and passenger carriages yard. (almost 7m).
The city itself stands on a 2100mm x 1200mm board.
We have started to make our own trees and this again, the root stock comes from real plants.
