Tracy Metz is an Amsterdam-based journalist, author and presenter who writes and speaks about urban issues. She is the founder and host of the live talkshow and digital magazine Stadsleven ('City Life') and director of the John Adams Institute. She writes for the newspaper NRC Handelsblad, the magazine De Groene and the American magazine Architectural Record. She is the author of a number of books, among them 'Sweet&Salt: Water and the Dutch'. In 2016 she won the Maaskant Prize, a lifetime achievement award for her work on the built and natural environment.
