This channel is primarily about sharing yoga and yoga techniques that I have learnt over the 20 years I have been practicing yoga all over the world. I have a LOT to share and I wholly believe that yoga is the KING of exercise...let me explain why.
I have always been very into exercise - anything that challenges my body and gets my endorphins pumping! I have gone through so many phases, from long distance running to boxing and crazy gym classes. But throughout, yoga has been a constant and I have always boomeranged back to it.
Take one example - I took up boxing for upper body strength, then I twigged after a few months that yoga arm balancing and inversions provide all the upper body strength i need, but with added flexibility and mobility work, so my shoulder muscles never get tight and compounded as they did in boxing. There isn't room here to share more but trust me Ive proved this and some. And I haven't started on the non-physical benefits!
