During his childhood among the Gypsies , Django Reinhardt traveled widely before settling in Paris with his parents. He taught himself the rudiments of music and occurs very early in the balls , playing banjo and guitar . But at the age of 18, his trailer ignites and Reinhardt was severely burned on his left hand . Refusing to give up music, he invented a new way to play .
In 1934, he established the String Quintet of the Hot Club of France together with Stéphane Grappelli . Loan originality , the group comes off the black American style and recorded many songs ( Minor Swing , 1937 or Cloud, 1940). Great improviser, Django Reinhardt largely distinguished in the world of jazz as one of the greatest musicians of his time.
