DyAD, founded by Dan Charles and the late Matt Yemm, carved a niche in the UK dubstep scene with releases on Abyssal Audio, Sub:Concious, Mindstep, and Pressed Records. Their music balanced dancefloor energy with introspective depth, earning features on FatKidOnFire and KeepDeep (EDM.com), while remixes like Matt U’s “Danger” and Sick ft. Talabun’s “Virus” resonated underground.

Their dynamic set on GetDarker TV 241 highlighted their skill as producers and DJs, catching the attention of M.U.D. However, after Matt’s passing in 2017, DyAD went on hold as Dan navigated his loss.

Re-emerging in 2023, Dan now creates without industry pressures, embracing music for its pure enjoyment and community. DyAD’s essence remains—less about accolades, more about authentic expression and connection.
