Teeth Machine are a band, formed through longstanding creative communications between Gray (Ella) and Arthur since they were 18 years old. It has developed through the years in various iterations, but is now settled as a company of friends who have pushed the project to become something truly shared. The ethos of DIY and collaboration is at the heart of the music and imagery we make together, with a lot of our inspiration rooted in early punk and grassroots projects – part of the desire to form the band as it is came from a frustration with the often prescriptive, aestheticized and hierarchical way in which music can be showcased as a product in the modern age.
