East Forest is a musician, producer, and ceremony guide who uses the power of music to help explore the uncharted territories of inner space. His live improvisational performances draw on original field recordings and a range of instrumentation which straddles the worlds of electro-acoustic neoclassical, electronic, ambient and indie-pop.
Since his debut in 2008, notable collaborators include Ram Dass, Jon Hopkins, Nick Mulvey, Peter Broderick, comedian Duncan Trussell, Marieme, and techno pioneer ANNA. East Forest hosts the Ten Laws Podcast where he talks with thought leaders across a range of topics including health, technology, and spiritual practices. He regularly leads retreats, and his thought leadership, guided meditations, and music have been included in research and special projects with UCSF Neurosciences, Google, Johns Hopkins, TEDx, Stanford d.school, Naropa, SXSW and Yale.
