Dr. Desin is a Microbiologist. He obtained his BSc in Microbiology & Immunology from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and his PhD in Microbiology from the Vaccine & Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO) where he also did his Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Dr. Desin has received training in Biosafety Level-3 (BSL-3) and has spent many years working with Microbial Pathogens.
