Mathmatrix
Mathmatrix, also known as BLN and Brazda lui Novac, is the moniker of Victor Popescu, from Romania. He has been creating music since 1997 and started releases in 2010, making his debut with a self-titled album called Brazda lui Novac on Square Sound Records. The next year, he released the album Dizzy under the alias BLN under Raumklang Music Records label. Followed in 2013, by a self-released called Moldern, which included remixes by various artists such as Plaid, Architect, and Roel Funcken. In 2018, and signed to the Touched Music label, he released Reworked Rewired Vol 1., followed by Multiverse in 2019. In 2022, he changed the name of his project to Mathmatrix and released a new album with the same title. Mathmatrix is widely recognized for blending classic IDM sounds and arrangements in his work, while also incorporating more experimental, grindy, and glitchy elements which creates a thrilling and energetic element in his new release, FRACTAL HARMONIES available this summer 2023
