When I first started making tote bags I lived in Phoenix, Arizona, just a few blocks from a local discount fabric store called SAS Fabrics. They carried hundreds of fabrics and everything needed for sewing. I would often lose hours browsing and examining all of the fabrics and materials. With a used sewing machine, that I bought off a friend for $20, I started my Etsy store back in 2013.

Over a decade later I now live on the East Coast and am still running my online shop. I love the creative aspects of having an online shop, from sourcing the fabric, to designing and creating the products, to the photography of the products and also maintaining an online presence. This shop brings me a lot of joy!
