Three things I wanted to note:

First, the new CK3 series with the Wandering Nobles DLC is a continuation of the Roads to Power campaign. We're now playing as our previous character's son.

Second, if you're into RTS games, consider checking out the Empire of the Ants series. I'm having fun with it and it's surprisingly a very beautiful game.

Third, to answer the question that so many people are asking me, yes I will be doing a HOI4 series this week with the Götterdämmerung expansion.

Hey guys! Episode 4 of the FoG: Kingdoms series will be our last video until next week, as we'll be starting our summer vacation today. It's a just a staycation, as we're still paying off last year's big vacation lol. When we come back we'll be finishing up the FoG: Kingdoms, Bannerlord, and CK3 series. We'll also be starting new series with Sins of a Solar Empire 2 (as a different faction) and Victoria 3: Sphere of Influence. Content will return on June 20!

Hey guys! Sorry we didn't have videos throughout most of the week. We were dealing with some weather related issues. Our basement flooded again in the same area with all the rain we got, so dealing with that. And then on the day we planned to record 3 videos, we had a Tornado warning. Luckily the tornado passed by us, but still had us on alert and we couldn't record with the sirens going off throughout the evening. There's a new CK3 Persia episode out now, and there will be a Grounded video later today and a Planet Zoo episode on Sunday.

Happy New Year everyone! We're looking forward to returning to the same quantity of content as we used to do, as this looks like it's going to be a great year for strategy gaming. Jynx and I will be returning with console series this month as well, after she was dealing with a really bad cough all of December. The kids are both better, so seems I might have avoided catching this round of sickness fortunately. Hope everyone's holidays went well, and we can't wait to experience another year of gaming with you guys!

Hope everyone had a great November! We got back from our vacation early Monday morning, about 10 hours later than we were supposed to. Overall, we had a great time, but did deal with some disasters at the beginning and the end. We were stuck in JFK for most of Sunday. Our plane sat on the runway for 2 hours before the pilot notified everyone that they were experiencing technical issues and we would have to return to the gate. The plane was evacuated and we had to wait 7 hours for the airline to make another plane available. Once on the second plane (which was older and less comfortable than the first one), we had to wait another hour to takeoff for an unexplained reason. This was with JetBlue. We flew with 4 different airlines on our trip, and this was easily our worst experience.

We finally arrived at home early Monday morning to an unfortunate surprise. About a week ago our city experienced its heaviest November snowfall in 135 years. One of the pipes to Jynx's garden sprinkler system burst that weekend. The system should have been turned off before we left, but I don't mess with the garden stuff so didn't think about it, and Jynx also forgot to do it. The pipe sprayed water all over the yard for 8 days, heavily flooding it. The water then made its way into our basement, flooding part of that as well. We're lucky that the flooding happened on the same side as the sump pump, as it would have been much worse otherwise. Regardless, there is significant damage to our yard and basement that we're dealing with today, hence why we did not start the HOI4 series as planned. I should be able to record tomorrow (Wednesday) in order to start the series on Thursday. Sorry about the delay.

Considering how long the trip was, the fact that it went so well overall was a pleasant surprise. While our British Airways flight also sucked for a variety of reasons (I don't understand why that airline is so highly rated), the last flight was the only one of five that was delayed. Delta easily provided the best experience. The transatlantic cruise was amazing, though our daughter did deal with some seasickness for about half of it (the Atlantic is quite a rough ocean). I can definitely recommend Norwegian Cruise Lines, they provided a fantastic experience. Our favorite place we visited on the trip was Venice, which surprised me. I was thinking it would end up being an overrated and too "touristy" location, but that certainly wasn't the case as long as you shop and dine at the right places. Our least favorite place was New York City, mostly due to how crowded it was due to the Christmas events, but also because their subway system is garbage compared to cities like D.C. and London. I will note that Bleecker Street had some of the best pizza I've ever had though.

So we'll be starting the HOI4 series on Thursday, and shortly after that Jynx and I will be starting a new series as well. Thanks for understanding the delay, hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys! This post is to inform you that we’ll be starting our vacation today (technically we leave late tonight). Usually, our vacations are about 12 days, but this one is going to be much longer, at 22 days. Since I was a young kid I wanted to visit Europe in order to see all the places that I’ve been studying my whole life, and we’re finally doing it using the money we received from selling our house last year. I started planning this trip early this year, hence why we did not take our usual summer vacation. If I had known this would be such a rough year financially, I wouldn’t have planned it, but it’s too late now as everything’s paid for lol. It’s my dream vacation, so I suppose it’s worth it, and November 20 is my 37th birthday and you only turn 37 once.

We’re going to be visiting three European countries: the United Kingdom, Italy, & Spain. The main cities we’ll be in are London, Rome, Venice, & Barcelona. As you might expect from my channel name, I’m extremely excited about finally seeing Rome! We’ll be leaving Europe in a trans-Atlantic cruise, as tickets are much cheaper this time of year and most people don’t want to do trans-Atlantic voyages. It wasn’t that much more expensive than four plane tickets (gods they’re pricey!), so figured might as well check off going on a cruise from the bucket list as well (we’ve never even been on a ship before), as you get an experience for the money rather than paying for the much quicker, but far more unpleasant, plane ride. We also get to visit several Atlantic islands on this cruise, including the Azores and Bermuda. They look absolutely beautiful in the pictures so we’re looking forward to seeing them in person. Our cruise ends in New York City, so we’ll be staying there a few days as well. I’ve always wanted to go there again (went once when I was young, but we only drove around in traffic and then went home lol), and it’s the city my daughter has been begging to visit every year I plan a vacation. Since we’re already going to be in the city, we figured we’d stay for a couple days and do some sightseeing.

I would have preferred to discuss this in a vlog, but unfortunately I just didn’t have the time. It’s the last day and we’re still not fully packed, despite all this planning. We’ll be returning home on December 3rd, thus I’ll record the first episode of the HOI4 series on 12/4, and that will be released on 12/5. This is the series that is currently being voted on by members here on YouTube and Patrons on Patreon. The four options are Tsarist Russia, Communist Japan, Fascist Italy, & Spain (Spain's ideology is also being voted on). Currently, Russia is in 1st place, Japan 2nd, & Spain is in 3rd. Jynx and I will also be starting a new series the week we return. We’ll see you then, have a great November!

Hey guys! Just wanted to announce to those subscribers that aren’t watching the current HOI4 series that I did start up the membership program for the channel, which is basically an alternative to Patreon here on YouTube. For transparency, Google offered our channel a bonus if we turned it on, as well as an additional bonus if we can get 30 members in the first 30 days. With the HOI4 Sweden campaign now finished, we’ll be returning to the CK3 Lorraine dynasty series. Jynx and I will also be starting a new series on PS5. These will be the final content before our vacation begins on November 12. I’ll be making another post next week with details regarding how long we’ll be off and what we’ll be doing. I’ll try to also do a vlog if I can find the time. Lastly, there is currently a poll in the community section for members and an identical one on Patreon for supporters to vote on the next HOI4 series, which will start when we come back from vacation. Regarding today's CK3 episode, it's uploaded but for some reason "video processing is taking longer than expected," so I instead released the Baldur's Gate 3 episode that was planned for this afternoon. The CK3 episode will have to be released at that time.

Sorry for the lack of content this week. Unfortunately we've been having some family issues regarding our teenage daughter. Not an injury or sickness, but more along the line that she's in big trouble with us right now. It's typical teenager behavior, but this is the first time we've dealt with this kind of trouble with her. Out of respect for her privacy I'll leave it at that. Also, I've been having some hearing problems this week. As many of you know, I was artillery in the Army, so I've only had about 50% hearing in my left ear since then. But now it's much worst for some reason, I can barely hear from that ear, and what I do hear sounds like it was recorded on a broken microphone. There's also a constant loud ringing. If it doesn't improve soon I'm going to have to visit the VA to see if they can do anything. Content will return tomorrow, with a video from all three of our current series.
