A lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana, (60 miles southwest of New Orleans, Louisiana) Guy Fanguy has created art work nearly all of his life and has developed a realist style that is reflective of his Louisiana surroundings. As a well-known artist in south Louisiana both as a musician and a visual aritst, Guy has won various awards for his work.
Guy Fanguy's Art work captures the essence of South Louisiana. He tries to provide a glimpse of the Cajun culture as he visualizes it. Guys only hope is that the viewer enjoys his work as much as he enjoys creating it.
Because of Guy Fanguys love for the outdoors, he turns his focus toward art work that involves nature and is a photographer as well as an artist. Guy Fanguy uses his photography of South Louisiana as subject matter for his art work and inspiration as a cajun musician.
