My name is Kristi Yow and I have been a semi-professional musician since I was 13 years old. I recorded my first album in the 8th grade after my dad took a liking to some of the songs I had written. With little know-how of the music industry, we literally typed into YouTube "How to record an album" and went to the first place that came up. *face palm* It was a Christian Recording Studio in Oklahoma. So we took a flight there from North Carolina... Oh my. I recorded an 8 song Christian album. Mind you, the songs I wrote then were the words of a 11 to 13 year old, so I don't replay them much. haha. But I continued to write songs and play publically. After a while I realized that when you're playing live, people don't pay much attention unless the song is familiar, which got me started on learning covers. And from there, I opened this YouTube channel in 2008. Life has gotten in the way and prevented me from focusing on my channel these past 10 years, but here's to new beginnings!
