My romaji writing rule:
Basically follows the Hepburn romanization.
Long vowels: ā, ī, ū, ē, ō.
Syllabic n (ん):
- written as n' before vowels and y.
ex) ha-n-i (はんい) → han'i
- written as m before b, m, and p.
ex) ka-n-ba-n (かんばん) → kamban
Double consonants:
written as tch when ch follows the sokuon "っ".
ex) ta-っ-chi (たっち) → tatchi
[Word separation]
Auxiliary verbs or subsidiary verbs connect to verb.
These are separated each: nouns, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, particles, and sentence-final particles, except euphonic changes
