I began learning classical Arabic in 2014. It’s a fascinating language, but it is DIFFICULT. Especially if you don’t study and practice. I’ve lived in Qatar for 6 years yet still too shy to try, and unable to have a conversation!
On December 1st 2020 I made a promise to myself and to my friends, that I would go to the extreme and push myself to speak Arabic with other people on video, where anyone can watch and listen. My worst nightmare! Yet here I am...
The idea behind the channel is to practice Arabic by exploring different aspects of Middle Eastern culture. I will also look at how the experience of living in Qatar changes, as I start to speak the language.
I hope you find the channel useful or interesting! I’d love to hear some good ideas on how to learn more effectively, and of course new content ideas!
