Hafdís Huld is Iceland's No1 artist. A singer songwriter who from the age of 15 toured and recorded with the iconic Icelandic eletro-collective Gus Gus. Later she collaborated with FC Kahuna, co-writing and performing the classic 'Hayling' and 'Machine Say Yes'. 'Vögguvísur' (lullabies) has been the No1 album in Iceland since 2020 (four years running) and is the most streamed album in Icelandic history reaching over 65M. Hafdís and long time collaborator Alisdair Wright write and produce everything together including music videos..Her debut solo album, 'Dirty Paper Cup' won Best Pop Album at the 2007 Icelandic Music awards and received acclaim from the world's music press. Her second album 'Synchronised Swimmers' 2010 featured popular songs 'Action Man' and 'Kongulo'. 3rd album 'Home' is full of beautifully crafted songs, and won high praise from international press.
