Nami Ohara
I am Nami Ohara, born in Osaka, Japan, and raised in the suburbs of Nagoya. I teach Japanese on Newfoundland Island in Canada, and my nickname is Detective Tsuntsun Tsutsukky-Sensei. I launched my YouTube channel in 2010 to introduce Japanese language and culture to people worldwide. My desire is for my students to enjoy learning Japanese. To keep their motivation high, I created the "Tsuntsun Kingdom" and assumed the role of Detective Tsuntsun Tsutsukky-Sensei. Let's learn Japanese together and have fun!
"Tsuntsun Tsutsukky" means "Nudge Nudge" or "Poke Poke" in English, reflecting my teaching style."Detective" refers to being skilled at reading students' situations and expressions, and watching over whether they are studying hard or not.
