Steve Ignorant
Steve Ignorant is a singer/songwriter and co-founded the anarcho-punk band Crass with Penny Rimbaud in 1977. After Crass, he sang with Conflict, Schwartzenegger and Stratford Mercenaries. In 2007 he performed Crass’ entire Feeding of the 5000 album and throughout 2010-2011 presented The Last Supper, touring/celebrating the songs of Crass around the globe.
2013 - 2018 Steve and Paranoid Visions performed together and recorded 2 albums.
Over the years Steve has taken part in many Conferences/Literary Festivals.
Steve Ignorant's Slice Of Life started in 2012 and is still going strong. Musically, the band is built on an acoustic arrangement of piano (Carol Hodge), guitar (Pete Wilson) and bass (Pete Rawlinson).
Steve also performs Crass songs with the Ignorant Band (Carol Hodge - vocals & keys, Jay Bagnall - drums, Pete Rawlinson - bass and Pete Wilson - guitar).
