Moderna Records was born in 2015 from the idea of offering a common platform to various types of instrumental music. We're here to trace a line from electronic sound designers to classical composers, connecting them through the realms of ambient and cinematic music. Our label is a growing global family that promotes and supports talented artists with unique voices and compositional styles, affording each artist the chance to share their vision and gain new opportunities to collaborate with other like minded musicians. Moderna Records is a team of two, Évolène Lüthi (he/him) and Nicolas Hyatt (they/him). We’ve been working in tandem since 2016 on every aspect of the label, building relationships with artists and pushing ourselves to learn about how best to share their meticulously crafted music with audiences. A fun tidbit is that we work together on the daily in french as it’s each of our ‘mother tongues’. And on that note, here’s a little more about each of us:
