"Association for Deconstruction" was founded in Japan in 2013 in order to provide a forum for joint research and free discussions for Jacques Derrida and researchers who are interested in thinkers and writers related to his deconstruction ideas. The concept and method of "deconstruction" is not "unique" to Derrida. "Deconstruction" always opens our thoughts to phenomena and events that transcend academic disciplines and languages. "Association for Deconstruction" critically reconsiders the historical nature of such "deconstruction" and plays the role of a network for inheriting it in multiple forms, as a movement body that is not restricted by academic fields or expertise.
