Established in 1997 by executive director Doug Harris and media director Jacques Bronson, AUP Media has produced a number of award winning documentary films and educational media. AUP Media projects and films are regularly aired on Bay Area cable television outlets.
AUP Media's producer/director Doug Harris received media and filmmaking awards in 2008 from the Association of Cable Communicators and the U.S. Sports Film Festival for "BOUNCE: The Don Barksdale Story" and "Basketball in the Barrio." Harris is currently working to complete his latest AUP Media documentary project entitled Basketball Guru: The Pete Newell Story.
Athletes United for Peace is a United Nations NGO that works in conjunction with the agency's Deparment of Public Information (DPI) at UN headquarters in New York.
