They were formed in 2011, their name derived from the Irish word Troideanna ("fights" or "battles"). Their energetic and masterful live shows quickly earned them a reputation in their home country and already after their first two releases, “Ripe for Rebellion” and “The Power & the Will”, they had caught hold of the attention of audiences and media around the world. The band’s first shows in Europe took place in 2016, their brand of Folk metal calling for much more than the die-hard genre fan.
The band alternates shows in Europe and their home country, their style resonating wherever they go. Whether it’s the warring Scottish Bagpipes or the enchanting tin whistle, they blend the Celtic spirit with the unstoppable energy of heavy metal. The result is powerful, intense and spirit-lifting.
