The Center for Islamic Development is the reality of a vision designed to promote harmony, education and understanding within our community, by submitting peacefully to the Creator of the universe, Allah. The inception of CID was from the light of hope to bestow, upon Muslims and non-Muslims, a greater understanding of Islam also the Center provides a balanced approach to learning Islam, and thus eradicating any misconceptions, misunderstandings and misgivings about Muslims and the honourable teachings of Islam. At CID, we strive to teach and welcome non-Muslims, so that we can all live in an atmosphere of understanding and goodness, rather than in the clouds of suspicion and hate. It is encouraged to know ones roots, so that the tree is not in conflict with its foundation. Centering oneself spiritually and morally is to develop, and hence the name, Center for Islamic development.
