I was that "creative hustler" type in high school that flipped 200 text books to my own high school for $9k profit in 2 days after buying the books on amazon for $500 a few weeks prior. I was the one that then took the proceeds and instead of buying a car like all my friends told me to do - bought a "going out of business" sunglass store's inventory to grow the nest egg.
I work in San Francisco at a tech startup - ProtonMail. I was the 5th employee (now around 150 employees). I'm married with 2 kids (or soon to be).
I'm always looking for the next "angle" to make money, save money, or invest money. After struggling with "financial anxiety" for most of my life and having lived the past 3 years largely without that anxiety due to changing my mindset and actions around personal finance. Let's build a community around not "keeping up with the Jones'" but living a life of purpose. Whatever you decide you want that purpose to be for you and your family.
