San Francisco Sound

This channel is dedicated to the all of the Bay Area Musicians during the decades of the 60's and 70's. My father, Don Wehr, owned a music store in San Francisco's North Beach district called Don Wehr's Music City. He met and cultivated relationships with dozens of famous artist during this generation. Don loved capturing the era and over the years amassed a large collection of videos and pictures. Don passed away in 2016, however, his assemblage of historical Rock n Roll imagery has been left behind. Many of these rare videos will be seen, by the public, for the first time, on this YouTube Channel. Please subscribe to this channel for periodical updates as rare and historical content is released from the era of "San Francisco Sound".
