The original NES gameplay archive, est Jan 2007. This channel contains a complete set of gameplay videos for the NTSC catalog of the Nintendo Entertainment System, commonly known as the NES. There are also some Famicom and PAL titles included.
NESguide was started because, at the time in 2007 (when YouTube was still in infancy) many of the more obscure NES titles didn't have a video of any sort. NESguide's mission was to fill that void by producing a basic but comprehensive gameplay video archive. This goal was met in mid-2009, but most of these videos were captured from the av-out on an original NES toaster and haven't aged well.
I recently started capturing gameplays again, using FPGA hardware - HD quality captures to replace older gameplays in the archive set . Please subscribe if you'd like to follow along with me on this new quest; as I traverse and capture the NES catalog once again.
