Micah McLaurin
“Music is pure emotion” for Micah McLaurin, who has spent the greater part of life perfecting his craft as a virtuoso pianist. Homeschooled so he could stay focused on his craft and early passion for piano, Micah began playing for live audiences as early as nine years old. The exhausting and exciting trajectory led Micah to attend the Curtis Institute and later Julliard, two of the most selective music institutions in the country, and he is now ready to embark on the next chapter of an already ambitious career: Diamonds, Micah’s debut LP. A collection of instrumental covers that hold deep meaning, Diamonds embodies Micah’s musical journey from beginner to master, and sees him working with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and an all-star cast of GRAMMY-winning producers, composers, and arrangers including Chris Walden (Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder), David Campbell (Carole King, Adele, James Taylor), Nick Patrick (Seal, Aretha Franklin, Andrea Bocelli), and more.
