Eric Henderson, Concert Guitarist and classical guitar virtuoso, has a passion for guitar that blossomed at age 6, resulting at age 13 in an invitation to study privately with master guitarist Andrés Segovia in Spain.
During 4 years in Europe, Eric also studied with Aureo Herrero, Ernesto Bitetti, Emilio Pujol, and the great composer, Federico Moreno Torroba.
At 17, Eric signed with Columbia Artists Management (for the US) and De Koos Concert Management (for Europe), launching his career as a Concert Guitarist with tours in Europe, Asia and the Americas; between tours, continuing studies with Angel Romero and Christopher Parkening.
Over decades, Eric has contributed to guitar repertoire as a Composer, his work used in television shows and films. All said, closest to his heart, is teaching and mentoring young guitarists, continuing the legacy.
