Brian the Folksinger
Brian is a full-time, life-long professional, performing both traditional and modern songs from a wide variety of mostly American genres along with his originals. What makes his sound unique is that in the late 1970's took up the hammered dulcimer to accompany his vocals instead of guitar, piano, or drums. By 1984 the dulcimer had become his primary instrument, in 1990, he designed the first 5 octave solid-body electric hammered dulcimer. This channel documents his life as a musician, various performances, and his electric hammered dulcimer,and is an extension of his extensive website and web journal.
