Our founder might have been born in Germany, but our family company was born in Philadelphia. Over 75 years and four generations later, we’re still the same family company and Philly is still our home. Sure, we might have grown a little bit, and some faces might have changed, but a lot of things are still the same.
It’s why we choose to do things a certain way: because that’s how we’ve always done them. Like handcrafting our own spice blends, using only the highest quality ingredients and learning how to do things the right way from true experts who have a lifetime of knowledge to share.
We have extremely high standards for our products and ourselves because our founder, Gottlieb Dietz, had extremely high standards. And while it might not be genetic, high standards have certainly been passed down through the family.
