The New Jersey native has always had music in his blood singing from a young age. He started off in his church choir; as did most of the greats. With parents of Nigerian & Sierra Leonean descent, schooling and education was their primary focus for Malkalm, but he had other dreams in mind. He began writing and vocal producing tracks for several underground artists in his local studio. He also took that time to find his sound recording song after song.
In 2019, Malkalm dropped his first single “End of A Love Song”. This 90's R&B felt song was carefully crafted to combine all things Malkalm loves about music and storytelling. "My goal within the music space is to connect with at least one person and let them know they aren’t alone in their thoughts", the R&B singer says as the purpose behind his music.
