Nasjonal jazzscene - Victoria gives Norway’s jazz audience an excellent place to experience and discover high quality jazz music. It lies in the heart of Oslo and is an intimate concert venue with excellent sound and lighting, both for the audience and the artists. We live stream a selected number of concerts each year, some which get a longer life staying on our YouTube channel.
The concert program reflects the high quality of the Norwegian, as well as the international jazz scene, mainly from modern/melodic jazz, but the program range from mainstream to free improvisation. Victoria is a historic venue with a vibrating cultural background. It has previously been a cinema, theater, cabaret scene and a night club. Sometimes it is all these things!
