No updates in quite a while, not sure if and when I'll get back into it.
Just as a public service, there are a number of reproduction Prideaux loaders circulating recently advertised and priced as originals. Buyer beware. An original will be stamped 'P-LD' (the D will be over an underscore, this stands for Prideaux, Limited) while reproductions are stamped 'P-L2'. The spring 'fingers' should be a deep indigo fire blue, not black. I can offer some more details and photos to anyone interested.
I've contacted a few retailers offering these with photos of my original - only one has returned my email but he continues to offer them as originals which is outright fraud.
