A five-member rap crew, Goon Regime, marks the return of a rap group from New York City. Decades past of the late seventies, early eighties when rap music had a plethora of crews representing their 'hood' while rhyming about socioeconomic issues, gun violence, drugs and hard times, Goon Regime is no different, yet their sound is.

The Brooklyn-based "rap regime" is targeting straight ahead at a large audience by spitting "reality rap" for those willing to listen. From the street corners, building lobbies dealings; illegal random searches by the police, sex, money and videotape stories are sprung to life lyrically, raw and uncut by the group. As rapper, videographer and producer Bones Stallones spearheads the movement; Ace Fury, Willie Jones Jr., Shottie Bee and Mean16 rounds up the group. Mostly they are relatively young rappers meanwhile longtime-affiliate, seasoned rhymesayer, friend, Kyzer Kash has collaborated early on with their music.
