منذ تأسيسها عام 2005، تعمل أريج عبر مسارات مختلفة في الوطن العربي؛ سعياً لمد الجسور بين الصحافيات والصحافيين الاستقصائيين، وتدعيم أرضية العمل الاستقصائي وتدقيق المعلومات من خلال تقديم ومواكبة أحدث المناهج في عالم التدريب لمختلف مراحل إنتاج التحقيق، سواء في التحضير والبحث والوصول إلى المعلومات.
كما تسعى إلى اتِّباعِ أفضل الطرق؛ للحفاظ على سلامة وأمن الصحفي/ة ومصادره وعائلته، كما اختارت أن تدعم أيضا مجتمع مدققي/ات المعلومات، وتفتح الباب لحماية مطلقي الصفارة أينما وجدوا.
Founded in 2005, Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) provides journalists in the MENA region with a supportive, connected and collaborative ecosystem that empowers, enlightens and provides reporters with state-of-the art training, coaching and networking. ARIJ has also expanded to incubate a community of Arab fact checkers and the tools to support the protection of whistleblowers in the region.
